Multi-party transactions—common in supply chains, financial services, healthcare, and cross-border trade—typically involve complex trust relationships and potential risks arising from information asymmetry, fraud, and opaque data management. Blockchain technology offers a unique value proposition by enabling decentralized, tamper-evident, transparent, and automated trust mechanisms. This research article investigates how blockchain facilitates trust among multiple parties and analyzes the underlying cryptographic, organizational, and smart contract–based architectures reducing the need for centralized intermediaries. The study proposes a Blockchain-Enabled Trust Mechanism Framework (BTMF) integrating transparency, consensus, immutable ledgers, decentralized identity, and automated enforcement. Implications for governance, scalability, regulatory alignment, and industry adoption are discussed. Recommendations for future blockchain-enabled transaction ecosystems conclude the study.
